In 1976, Petaluma documentary photographer and teacher, Morrie Camhi, led a deep survey of Mexican-American migrants culminating in a 175-photograph exhibition, Espejo: Reflections of the Mexican American. Travelling and photographing migrant workers in California and the Southwest, the NEA funded project resulted in a major exhibition at the Oakland Museum and St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles.
En 1976, el fotógrafo documentalista y maestro de Petaluma, Morrie Camhi, condujo un profundo estudio sobre los migrantes Mexicanos-Americanos culminando en una exposición de 175 fotografías, Espejo: Reflections of the Mexican American. Viajando y fotografiando trabajadores migrantes en California y el suroeste, el proyecto financiado NEA resultó en una gran exposición en el Museo de Oakland y en el St. Mary’s College en Los Angeles.
